Sonoma Vineyard Estate with 3 Bedrooms and Pool - Includes Wine Tasting Passport

A very cozy property and the management and services keep it in tip top shape. A bit outside of Sonoma, it’s an easy 8minute drive to town.

We had a great stay at the house in Sonoma. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and surrounded by vineyards. It only took about 10 minutes to get to downtown Sonoma. We would definitely stay there again.

Wood Valley Ranch is the perfect location to visit fabulous wineries. Buena Vista Winery is the oldest in Sonoma and our tour was fantastic. We also visited Chandon Winery in Napa. Highly recommend this one. After a winery we picked up Lunch at Sonoma’s Best which is truly the best only minutes away from Wood Valley. Every afternoon we sunned and swam in the beautiful pool. At night the hot tub was delicious under the stars. From the pool you look out on beautiful landscaping and vineyards. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this experience to all.

Excellent amenities and beautiful grounds!

Beautiful setting on private vineyard! The photos and description are exactly as described. It was really cold during our stay and the vintage fireplace was perfect to use! A flowing creek and olive trees really finished off this amazing property. There are breathtaking views of Sonoma from the top of the hill! The hosts are extremely quick to respond. This place is a less than 10 minute car ride to the picturesque quaint town of Sonoma.

A truly amazing property. Our group had a fantastic time. We were minutes from downtown Sonoma but still felt we had our own little world in the hills amongst the vines. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a special stay in wine country.

This place is great if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Kids were able to run around the property surrounded by vineyards. They enjoyed the lizards, butterflies, and hot tub. Pool was freezing but we stayed in April, would be nice to have pool heating option. The house is very clean and no left over stuff from other people. We loved the fireplace. Internet connection is bare minimum and pretty much no cell coverage. So you pretty much had to drive out of the property to make a call/text. There is a house phone which we used to call local wineries since they offered a wine passport for our whole stay. Some small fixes like replace broken blinds in the bedrooms and clean up garage or organize to one corner as the washer and dryer were located there. Great new large washer and dryer. The house was very well decorated and comfortable. Hunt was very responsive and he was able to offer solutions : if my kids could not get connection for their zoom distant learning. He was very open to our suggestions for improvement and he’s very easy going manager. He had great suggestions and went out of his way to help us find animals and eggs. The kids were so happy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we had a relaxing time together in this beautiful property in Sonoma.

Absolutely a 5***** home, fresh, clean with apparently new decor and finishings. All the necessary comforts and upgrades. Perfect for 5 lifetime friends to celebrate birthdays/wine tasting/and quaint Sonoma. Conveniently close to downtown Sonoma and many surrounding wineries, yet it felt very removed from all the hustle bustle. Quiet and serene situated amoung the grape vines.

"Beautiful property in gorgeous Sonoma"

This property absolutely over-delivers on amenities, finishes and outdoor beauty. The home has been notably renovated since the photos posted here were taken. The finishes are wonderful and the kitchen is a stunner. The only surprise for our group of 5 of was the swap of the two twin beds shown in one guest room to a queen (which would likely be an upgrade for others!). The pool and hot tub were the ideal way to wind down after wine tasting and the scenic location made for quiet evenings in the hills. Would love to stay again.

Lovely updated ranch house sites in a small vineyard at the end of a small road. Secluded but still a short drive from town. All modern amenities, and a lovely pool to sit by and have a dip in. We stayed as two couples for a long weekend and were very happy.

"Recently updated- perfect Sonoma getaway!"

I believe we were some of the first to stay at this home since it was renovated. The home was PERFECT- not one blade of grass piece of gravel out of place in the yard. The interior was immaculate, updated and modern, but so comfortable and not stuffy feeling of other contemporary homes. The large picture windows allowed views of the vineyards from most areas of the home. We loved the linens and comforters, and the quality of the bedroom furnishings really was superior. My daughter (4) was very excited for the thoughtful ketchup, mayo and mustard packets stocked since we left hers at the last condo in SF the night before! Everything was so well thought out- including the amazing vinyl collection of classic rock albums and legacy scrabble kit! My wife and our nanny spent countless hours (between wine tastings) working on a high end jigsaw puzzle, while I was able to fully enjoy the hot tub and the outdoor propane fire pit. Can't wait to return to Sonoma,and when we do, 100% chance we'll stay at this same home.

"Great place for a retreat"

The property exceeded my expectations! It's been renovated since the pictures were taken and is much more modern. The kitchen is one of the best I've been in (and I've rented a lot of houses). There were a couple of minor issues but all in all we had a fantastic time! It's close enough to the Sonoma Square and other places but you feel secluded. It's very peaceful there as well. Great place for some downtime with friends or family.

"Sonoma Oasis"

The house had recently been remodeled and very much exceeded expectations. The bedding situation was different than pictured (a queen bed replaced twin beds) but other than that minor inconvenience for our party of 5, everything about the house was perfect. Property management was very responsive and super helpful. While we didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor pool, it was surrounded by lots of cozy furniture and there was a lovely outdoor dining table with the vineyard backdrop - a very peaceful retreat which we wish we could have enjoyed more. The house feels secluded while still being a short drive to Sonoma Square and surrounding wineries.
I wouldn't hesitate to rent this place again.

"Wonderful"

Perfect space for a group of friends in town for the half marathon. The grounds were so beautiful and relaxing we hardly wanted to leave the house. Cooked in/grilled every night while enjoying the wine we collected during the day. We hope to return!

We were the first to stay at the property post-renovation, and it was fantastic. Remodel looks great. Modern updates, but still warm and welcoming. Fantastic kitchen, comfy and roomy bedrooms, updated bathrooms and plenty of room for our group of six. Even better was the outdoor space. The pool and hot tub are surrounded by clean and comfortable outdoor furniture including a gas fire pit. It was so much fun to hang out outside, surrounded by vineyard in total peace and quiet - daytime and nighttime. The house and amenities were so nice, we canceled our reservation one night and stayed in to cook both evenings.

Location is close enough to downtown Sonoma/Sonoma Plaza and many wineries to make grocery shopping and wine tasting easy, but secluded and very private while surrounded by trees and vineyards and great scenery. It was a short drive into town.
We also utilized the wine tasting passports at a couple of wineries.

Well outfitted kitchen with everything we needed. Arrival instructions and info about the house were easy and helpful. Small touches were nice to make it feel like a luxury vacation, all while having the space to relax with friends. We had a great time and truly enjoyed this spot. Highly recommend, and would certainly come back for a return visit.

"BEAUTIFUL HOME AND SURROUNDINGS, GREAT AMENITIES!"

We had a mid week getaway to Wood Valley Ranch! My guests and I were thrilled with the proximity to both downtown Sonoma and Napa as well. The property was beautifully maintained, with great unexpected features for a vacation rental. The kitchen was well stocked for the chef in our group, with plenty of utensils, platters and dish ware. An added plus was the stereo in the living room with a terrific collection of albums from the 70s and 80s which were great to hang out and listen to.
The pool had full sun, and front yard had the added comfort of the hammock under the big oak tree and the 2 rocking chairs on the front porch.
The chardonnay vineyard surrounding the property were days away from being picked and we had an amazing time walking up and down the rows of grapes and observing all the beauty wine country has to offer.

"Private Wine Country Home"

We had a wonderful stay at the Wood Valley Ranch! Our large group booked two properties through SVE--both were beautiful and private homes. We really enjoyed the privacy of the ranch, the large grassy front yard, vineyards, and oak trees were beautiful. We loved hanging out by the pool and barbecuing in the evenings. The location was very close to downtown Sonoma, wineries, restaurants and a close drive to Napa. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Himalayan restaurant in downtown Sonoma and Scribe Winery---must see!

I love this property as it is great for a couple's getaway, girls' weekend or family retreat!! This spot is private, quiet and very easy to "live" in. All the amenities are there and the pool is lovely. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the Sonoma Square, 15 minutes from downtown Napa.

What a wonderful vineyard retreat! We had a very memorable stay at the Wood Valley Ranch-it was the perfect spot to relax, drink wine and swim. The property has a real country feel, yet you are less than 10 minutes from town. We enjoyed going wine tasting at the nearby Scribe, Gundlach Bundschu and the Bartholomew. We had a delicious dinner at the Swiss Hotel downtown. Beautiful home, thanks for sharing!!

"Wonderful Countryside Getaway!"

We very much enjoyed our stay at Wood Valley Ranch. The location is wonderful, and having the luxury to walk through the vineyards in the morning was a special treat. The house's location, together with the beautiful grounds, made for a very relaxing getaway. While the location of the house is indeed in the countryside, it's a very short, 10-minute drive to downtown Sonoma. The house was very nice and well appointed. We also very much enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Efron who tends to the vineyards. It was very educational to be able to ask him questions and learn more about how the grapes are taken care of and harvested. He was very polite and happy to take some time to talk with us. As well, Breana and Heather were very responsive and helpful to us during our stay whenever we had questions. All in all, we had a great trip and enjoyed our time in Sonoma and stay at the Wood Valley Ranch home.

I had the pleasure of a girls weekend away at this spacious, quiet home. Tucked away with a vineyard in the back yard, yet convenient to all the fantastic restaurants and wineries nearby, we spent hours hanging out and enjoying the sunny pool. Comfy beds, lush yard, fully equipped kitchen, made for a relaxing get away. Would recommend the close by Patz Hall winery for a tasting - tasty wine and very hip, also renting bikes at the square, lots of cool destinations within pedal distance.

What a great find! This setting is so peaceful and beautiful! I felt like I was in Italy! The vineyards are beautiful with the changing seasons. Had a great time hanging at the pool and going for walks. The little town of Sonoma is an added plus. Been there twice and hope to go back again this year. Oh ya, the beds are cozy.
